Tadeo Czerweny was born in 1909 in Ucrania. He settled in Galvez in 1913 when the first electrical nets for street lighting were being built.
His first workshop, always focused on the incipient electro-mechanic market, became a small factory built in the town of El Trebol. Back in Galvez, he, with his five brothers, founded the factory which at its due time would be among the most important factories devoted to electric engines in the country.
In 1958, Tadeo Czerweny totally dissociated from the group in order to start manufacturing electro-mechanic elements and accessories and later, specifically transformers. He founded his own company which since 1979 has received the name Tadeo Czerweny S.A. being the chairman of its Board of Directors from the beginning until 1998 when he became honorary chairman, until his death in June 2000.

This confidence and mainly the respect we show for those who make our constant growth possible led us in 1994 to set the fundamental goal of becoming an international quality Company. Thus, we implemented a Quality Guarantee System under 9001 ISO standards, becoming the first transformer factory in the country in achieving this merit and certifying with the international consulting company DET NORSKE VERITAS in January 1997.
On January 10th, 2000, we renewed for another 3 year period under the Nº MSC - Q005131 - BAS - RvA.
From 1989 up to the present, Tadeo Czweweny S.A. has generated an important growth which exceeds the 1200% measured in KVA. This is partly due to the increase of the production in general and the growing industrial, rural and commercial demand the country has had. The greatest impulse has been given by the major participation in the domestic market and the growing incursion Tadeo Czerweny S.A. has made into the international markets as well as the incorporation of new products: Dry Cast Resin Transformers developed by the company Tadeo Czwerweny & Tesar S.A., the Mobile Sub-Stations and the Compact Sub-Stations (Pad-Mounted) and the special transformer line.
The innovation spirit, mirrored in the constant development of new products, is based on the understanding of the companies' needs.
To do so, we have reinforced our R & D Department with updated informatics tools which allow us to design all type of solutions without transferring its cost to the customers.
The results are clear. Today Tadeo Czerweny S.A. holds the indisputable leadership at transformer manufacturing in the country.
