Among our transforming solutions we have conceived and manufactured a transformer for electrolysis process which will be used to feed a thyristor rectifier bank. Its power is 2x2887 KVA (5774 KVA), has primary voltage of 13200 V and an on-load tap-changer to obtain a secondary variable voltage between 157 and 233 V in 11 steps.
This secondary one is in fact a double secondary, one in star connection and the other one in delta connection so as to obtain (se eliminó una partecita) six-phase pulses. Finally, we emphasize the secondary current which is constant and with a value of 7377 A for each one of its configurations.
